to noisy pool pumps - all have the ability to make your neighbour's life
hell. Read the Noise Disturbance flyer
that was sent out to all Parkhurst residents.
Parkhurst
in the News
Backstage
actress and Parkhurst resident,
Tselane Tambo, was featured in the Sunday Times "My Joburg"
column. This is what she had to say about Parkhurst:
Where do you live and why?
Parkhust, I love it there. It’s a village with a lot of
restaurants and antique shops, both of which I love.
How long have you lived there?
Three years.
What is your earliest memory of Parkhurst?
I had borrowed a sports car for the weekend — a two-seater
Mazda. I went to Parkhurst, for the first time on a Sunday to visit a
friend. When I was out on the wide open road, the noise of the car was
kind of sexy, but when I got to Parkhurst the constant compulsory revving
became embarrassing in this quiet suburb.
What do you think could be improved
in Joburg to make life better for residents?

Village Fair
The Parkhurst Village Fair was held at the Verity Park Recreation Ground
on Sunday 27 November 2005. It was the first in over 10 years and despite
the rain that ended the fair around 1pm, it went very well. Here are some
pics...
