How Much Does it Cost?

• Senior Citizens (over 65 years): R120/year .
• Residents/Household: R240/year.
• Good Samaritan: R480/yr.
• Donations are always welcome as well.

 

Joining is Easy

• Visit Nan Roberts Estate office in 4th Avenue (located in a 1st floor flat above the Friendly Shop), fill in the form and pay by cheque, cash or direct deposit into our account later on.
• Download, MSWord (33kb) or PDF (66kb), or request the membership form vis e-mail and then either:
- drop it off with a cheque in the Nan Roberts mail box;
- post it to us at PO BOX 84637, Grenside 2034;
• Make cheques payable to Parkhurst Village Association.

Aims of the PVRA

• To promote a cleaner, safer and more beautiful environment within the area;
• To be non-party political, non-racist and non-sexist;
• To provide liaison between the ratepayers of Parkhurst and the appropriate local authority, public bodies and local businesses;
• To maintain a watching brief on issues affecting, or that may affect, the ratepayers and residents;
• To foster a community spirit and to support appropriate programmes or measures in the interest of the welfare and/or security of residents of Parkhurst;
• To encourage a predominantly residential environment in keeping with the wishes of the Parkhurst community;
• To raise funds for the purpose of achieving the objectives of the Association;
• Membership of the Association shall be open to all residents, ratepayers and tenants in the area of concern who subscribe to the aims and objectives of the Association and who are at least 18 years of age.
